RIP computer

My computer refuses to turn on anymore. =( I talked to the computer guy at work, and he said it was the plug in part that charges it up that is dead. He said it wouldnt be worth it to fix, that it is better to get a new computer. Unfortunantly I am saving up for a possible large event, so I dont have any extra cash just laying around. So, I must be content just using Robs lappy, and the computers at school. Moment of silence for my beloved laptop....

    Danica, i have to say although things didn't work out the way you planned or hoped they would, i admire your determination to move on and make a better life for yourself. also, the fact that you are staying so true to your faith is amazing! you are a wonderful person and i am so happy to see you hanging in there in spite of everything! love ya and miss ya!

     So, today I had a follow up with my Cardiologist.  "What in the world do you have a cardiologist for" is most peoples response to that.  On the 4th of July I ended up having emergency surgery for a ruptured ectopic pregnancy.  I thought it was food poisoning, which is why we waited so long to go to the emergency room, which is why I came very close to not living through this seemingly trivial medical condition.  Anyway, at the cardiologist, they took my vitals, and everything looks good.  But I saw the nurse practitioner today who was not there for the surgery and had no clue what happened, so he asked me to explain what happened leading up to the surgery and my need for a cardiologist.       I explained: I thought I had food poisoning.  We realized it was probably something more serious when I was fainting every time I tried to stand up.  About at this point all my memories are fuzzy at best....

I really don't get on here often enough, though it is more often than I write in my own journal. Rob and I are sitting here on the couch, each in our own respective little world. Me surfing the web, and reading my latest novel... this one is the 5th installment of the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, which I highly recommend. I have fallen in love with the characters and story lines! I could really move to Scotland after this! Rob is (I hope I don't embarrass him here) reading the first novel of Twilight! He has Twilight in one hand, and a thesaurus in the other hand...lol. I guess he is just trying to get his vocab up...though I don't know if I could really get into a book if I was stopping every other sentence and looking things up. I am glad he is trying though. He really does make me proud with how hard is is trying to improve his mind (or maybe just try to understand why I like the books so much...equally sweet), and get a job and provide for the lit...

OK, so I wanted to write a little more about myself, so I got some ideas on topics to write about, so here goes!  This post is 20 random facts about myself. I cannot do scary movies.  Not even a little bit.  I will have nightmares and have to sleep with the lights on, and do that awkward run and jump into bed so that nothing under the bed can attack me.  And if by chance I do watch something a little scary, I have to watch a happy, funny movie after to dispel the feeling of terror and gloom.   I rescued a baby kitten when I was about 5 or 6 years old.  I remember he didn't have a tail, and for days, we heard him meowing, but thought it was a crow cause he meowed kinda funny.  We named him Crow. My parents were baptized LDS (Mormons) when I was 4 years old.  I remember my first Sunday school...
